About JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Pittsburgh North
United States Marine Corps Sergeant Major (Ret.) Jason T. Green was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He began his 24-year enlisted career in the United States Marine Corps when he entered recruit training in January 1992 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island, South Carolina. Jason served in many billets, in many commands around the globe. A highlight of his career would be when Staff Sergeant Green returned to MCRD Parris Island and served as a Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor in 2d Battalion, Company G.

After graduating seven platoons of basically trained Marines, he was selected to serve as an Instructor at Drill Instructor School where he graduated seven classes of new drill instructors. His deployments include a float with Battalion Landing Team 3/6, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) in support of OPERATION CONTINUE HOPE in Somalia and OPERATION SUPPORT DEMOCRACY in Haiti in 1994, two tours in Iraq supporting OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM 06-08.1in 2007 and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM 08-01 in 2008, and one tour in Afghanistan supporting OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM 10.1 in 2010. Jason retired in February 2016 after serving two tours as the Sergeant Major of two commands, each consisting of more than 650 Marines and Sailors.
Creating Meaningful Work
After his military career, Jason moved his family back to the Pittsburgh area, used the GI Bill to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University, and worked for a local non-profit organization assisting homeless veterans to gain meaningful employment. He teamed up with his wife, Mary Green, and his father, John Green to start a package delivery company employing more than 80 local people. Mary and Jason have been together since before he joined the Marine Corps and she was his wife for 20 of the 24 years they served. John was the inspiration for Jason to join the Marines, as he served in the Corps, which included a tour in Vietnam. Jason, Mary, and John have teamed up again to lead the JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Cranberry Township in serving the junk removal needs of Pittsburgh and the areas to the north, east and west.
